C² Business Solutions

C2 Business Solutions provides private business development on the FlatheadMT Governor Schweitzer Indian Reservation and the outlying areas to benefit minority businesses.

 

This business provides business counseling, assistance and educational opportunities, both in a classroom setting and on an individual basis, to improve Native American and minority entrepreneurs' ability to compete sucessfully in today's business environment.

 

A targeted program of entrepreneurial education, training, and technical assistance helps to create an enabling culture and networks of support for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs. Such programs not only help engage and retain young people, but they build on the local assets, heritage, and resources.

 

Class ParticipantsMission

C² Business Solutions mission is to develop ways that will assist Native American and minority entrepreneurs to take advantage of opportunities including the development of programs that encourage, train, and support Native American and minority entrepreneurs in the development and expansion of small businesses.

 

The larger focus of C² Business Solutions is to establish an ongoing mentoring program that provides individualized assistance to Indian and minority entrepreneurs on various topics ranging from marketing to financing and to continue to provide direct monitoring, technical, financial, and management support to tribally and minority owned businesses. The goal is to assist in creating an environment in which businesses can flourish as sustainable and profitable enterprises, and to help in maximizing the benefits.

 

All customized business development counseling, training and workshops utilize the Indianpreneurship Business Plan Training model.

 

Indianpreneurship TM A Native American Journey into Business Governor Schweitzer & family

A small business training curriculum for the Native American entrepreneur! Founded by ONABEN, a Native American Business Network. This curriculum provides a core of business information for Indianpreneurs and business owners. The course includes many of the tools utilized in business planning especially in areas of marketing, operations and financial controls including the information required when seeking a loan. This class provides enough information for the participant to initiate the following:

 

Knowledgeable business planning

 

Write a business plan

 

Develop a loan proposal

 

Budgeting, developing cash flow, financial information

 

Operational Controls

 

Marketing

 

Critical thinking

 

The classes started Feb.19, 2008 every Tuesday @ 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm @ Lake County Community Development in Ronan.
