The Montana Indian Business Alliance has developed this Resources by Region Section to assist Indian entrepreneurs and small business owners seeking to start or grow their businesses on and off reservations. The Guide lists programs, entities, institutions and professional organizations available to assist small businesses in their efforts to succeed.

For quick reference purposes, the content is organized by geographic region. By region, resources are listed in the following categories:

Financial Resource - Organizations, state agencies, federal agencies and other entities that offer funding or technical assistance.

Local Development Organizations – Community organizations that promote, support and assist local small businesses.

Procurement Technical Assistance Centers – Centers designed to expand the number of businesses capable of government contracting by offering classes and counseling to businesses on bid opportunities and contract specifications.

Lenders – Banks, credit unions and other entities including gap financers that provide funding to small businesses.
